Ran Makavy, CEO Ran has over fifteen years of international experience managing product development, strategy and marketing in the Internet and telecommunication industries. Before Moblica, Ran was head of product management at Followap Inc, establishing the company as the market leader in Mobile IM, leading to its acquisition. Ran was also a Product and R&D manager at Check Point Software Technologies, leading networking and high availability products. Ran is a graduate of Mamram, and holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an MBA from AGSM. Micha Berdichevsky, VP Engineering Micha has over seventeen years of experience in software development and project management. Running R&D teams from idea stage to launched and delivered products. Prior to Moblica, Micha was Co-Founder and CTO of C.O.Sense developing a multi-participant Interactive TV entertainment platform. Micha was also an R&D manager at B.V.R. Systems, leading flight simulation and battlefield training projects for European and Asian customers. Micha is a graduate of Mamram. Barak Naveh, CTO Barak has over seventeen years of experience in initiating, leading and managing software development projects. Prior to Moblica, Barak was responsible for kick-starting new products at SAP Labs. Barak also spent several years in the Silicon Valley working at early stage startups. Barak was CTO at ImageJuice, a company he co-founded. Barak is a graduate of Mamram and holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science. Lior Tal, VP Business Development & General Counsel Lior has over nine years of experience leading business development efforts for early stage startups as well as legal experience in intellectual property and commercial law. Before joining Moblica, Lior co-founded and acted as managing partner at Barzam, Tal, Lerer Attorneys at law & Patent attorneys. Prior to that, Lior filled business development positions in software start-ups, including Odigo, DiskSites and Actimize. Lior holds LL.B. and B.A. degrees in Law and Business, a Master degree in Commercial Law, and is an active member of the Israel Bar Association. Simon Davies, MD Europe Simon has spent the past sixteen years working within the technology sector, with a particular focus on the convergence of Internet, broadcast and mobile telecoms. Simon was senior principal at the venture capital and strategic consulting firm Interregnum for 11 years. In this role he was involved in early stage ventures such as Yospace as well as carrying out projects for large corporations such as Sony, British Airways, IBM, Microsoft, Chyron Corporation and the BBC. Most recently he was CEO of Objectronix Ltd, an IT security and application hosting company serving clients such as Camelot, Channel 4, Anheuser Busch, Asprey and Lockheed Martin. Simon is a graduate of Bristol University where he holds a B. Eng. in mechanical engineering.
